Aloe vera has been proven to combat sour and bad breath . It contains an active compound called B-Sitosterol. It acts as an anti-inflammatory for acidic indigestion that contributes to bad breath .Medically , it is recommended to take aloe vera gel up to a ¼ cup mixed with ½ cup of water once in a day but overdoing it would make it act as a laxative.
