Ray-Cort Park

After the Ray-Cort Skate Park was constructed, the old playground equipment at Ray-Cort had to be removed. With state grants from NC Health and Wellness Trust Fund and State Health Promotion, Graham Children's Health Services, along with partners with Health Yancey, led an effort to purchase park equipment install it in one and a half days during a community build. The new playground equipment includes an elliptical climber, a play center, a tot-tree, swing set, and learning lab.
