~The Latina Health Team~

The LaTeena Health Team consists of 6 high school students

committed to learning about physical health and well-being

through exercise classes, cooking classes, and health talks

through the afterschool program. Together with the

Yancey County Health Department, they will work to promote

healthy lifestyles among the Latino community.
