Kid Mountain (2001)

Constructed to give children a safe haven to play and be creative, the volunteerism that resulted in Kid Mountain has been the blue print for community activism for many years.

Built in 5 days with an incredible 800 volunteers, community members hammered and sawed their way to make one of the most amazing playground structures in Western North Carolina.
