Old Burnsville Gym

Led by Graham Children's Health Services, and Yancey County Parks and Recreation, the Old Burnsville Gym renovation of 2008 was critical to Yancey County's recreational infrastructure as it is the only indoor recreational facility free for public to use. When the floor was removed in 2005 due to a damaging leak, thousands of eager citizens were without a facility to hold their programs in. Due to the generous monetary and in-kind support of many individuals, corporations, and foundations (click here to view), the Burnsville Gym renovation would not have been able to take place. The newly rennovated Old Burnsvill Gym has reopened!
		The Old Burnsville Gym renovation broke ground on September 13, 2007. It's grand re-opening was July 5, 2008. Its total renovation cost was $103,500
